Hans Schwarz

HANS SCHWARZ is a worthy descendent of four generations of artisan furriers, in Frankfurt, Germany. His forefathers have created the company in1947 in Frankfurt, the European center of the fur industry. Passion for natural materials of excellence and of authenticated origin, sustainable design, an inextinguishable thirst for new techniques and innovation characterized the company from its very beginning to today. Hans Schwarz’s signature lies in making fur into super lightweight, wearable garments.

The creative excellence of Hans Schwarz’s contemporary sport chic style was recognized from the beginning of his career, when he was asked to work for Fendi, to more recently when he won the German National Design Award, Saga Furs Award, Swakara Gold Prize For Innovative Fur Making, and the Fur & Fashion Frankfurt Gold Medal. Hans Schwarz is an active member of the German Furrier Association, where he currently holds a post in the Fashion Committee, and he is also a member of the board of the German Fur Institute (DPI)
